Every day, at the end of the day in the saddle, you will look forward to arriving to the next hotel. And it will not be the end of the day, but the beginning of the rest of the day!
The architecture, the traditions and the people of every region are different and this experience definitely adds a rich diversity to the rides. Therefore we have chosen the most representative places to stay according to the quality and the character requirements of Equiberia.
The description of every ride includes a detailed description of the accommodation chosen.
In the Gredos rides, the accommodation ranges from the National Parador of Gredos, an ancient hunting lodge with a great atmosphere, 4* hotel built in a grand XVIth century country estate with a spa, and a beautiful big field for the horses... or a charming rural hotel, that everybody remembers because the horses sleep in the backyard pastures and come to the windows to wake up the riders in the morning.
In the Segovia rides the accommodation is rather grand and full of history: a 4* hotel built in a XIII c monastery; the grand National Parador of La Granja, near the Royal Palace; or the Castillo de Castilnovo, a medieval castle and a museum with very interesting collections, where you will feel as if going back in time.
In the Menorca rides, the country hotels portray the characteristics of the local architecture, they are charming, luxurious, and built in the traditional style of the agricultural estates of the island. In this ride, one night is spent at a simple family run hotel: the smiles of every person of this family, when they see us arrive on horseback... you will always remember.
In the Sevilla rides, you will stay at some traditional Andalusian country estates and cortijos -the Andalusian country houses. You will stay at some private houses where the hospitality, the charm and the friendliness of the owners will make the evening a very special one. In the village of El Rocio, we’ll stay at one of the traditional houses of this horse village. The whole village has sand streets and the houses have an inner courtyard and stables at the back.
Accommodation is planned in twin bedded or double rooms. Single accommodation can be arranged and involves a supplement.
